Personality Bio
I had a Cute Bio printed up, but one of my 2 dogs, Alex or Eddie, wound up eating my homework! .....So, I figured I would just cut and paste this article that DID NOT appear in Rolling Stone Magazine.......Anyway, here goes!

The interview you won't see in Rolling Stone

RS: Well, Louie, a lot of your fans out there are waiting to learn more about you. Where were you born and raised?
Louie: I was born in Joliet, Illinois – the home place of the “Blues Brothers”. That’s also where I grew up and learned many of life’s lessons. Did I mention that Joliet is also known for Statesville Correctional Center Prison?

RS: Louie, keeping up with the crowd you play for must be a bit tiring for someone your age. Tell me, when is your birthday?
Louie: August 26.

RS: OK, but what year?
Louie: Every year!

RS: You must have had many influences when you were growing up. Who is your number one favorite radio personality?
Louie: Me

RS: Alright, let’s start with number 2, then.
Louie: Well, some are the great Chicago radio jocks I grew up listening to like John “Records” Landeker, Larry “Superjock” Lujack, Steve Dahl, and Jonathon Brandmeier. These guys are still the best in my book!

RS: Louie, every public event you are at has a a line of women waiting to see you. Just what is your marital status now?
Louie: I am currently holding auditions for a Mrs. Linguini; but, so far, no such luck.

RS: Any kids?
Louie: Not that I know of.

RS: What about pets? I hear you love animals.
Louie: Yes! I love my pets! So, let me give a shout to my dogs, Alex & Eddie Linguini (named after the Van-Halen Brothers, the greatest band ever). Also, my cat, Whoopass Linguini (the 94one ZBQ station mascot), and Fred Linguini (R.I.P.) up in doggie heaven.

RS: What about role models? Do you have any?
Louie: My idols are Tom Jones, Eddie Van-Halen, Ric Flair, Telly Savalas, and Elvis.

RS: You play a lot of music at 94one and when you do various parties and such. Does your taste in music vary much?
Louie: It’s pretty weird, actually. I dig everything from 70’s and 80’s Heavy Metal to Disco, and 80’s and 90’s Dance Music . . . like the stuff you hear on The Saturday Nite Regrind on 94one ZBQ. And, I enjoy Top 40 tunes, again like the stuff you here on 94one ZBQ!!

RS: What is the idea behind The Saturday Nite Regrind?
Louie: Basically, it is Dance & Party music to get you in the mood to go out and have a good time. However, you can stay home and have a good time listening to it, too. In fact, I have been told that many families have been started all because of The Saturday Nite Regrind! Yes, I am responsible for the overpopulation in the Twin States area! I am glad I can provide this service. It is just a great show because you can have a party in your home, crank up The Saturday Nite Regrind and not have to pay $500.00 for a mobile disc jockey. Plus, it is all from my personal CD collection, music I enjoy, and I am the host. So, why shouldn’t the show be great!??!

RS: I hear that you are a multi-faceted person. Tell us about “Louie the Entrepreneur”.
Louie: I own my own Mobile DJ Service, Linguini Productions. Book me NOW! 205-349-3200 ext. #104!! Or e-mail me at :  louielinguini@clearchannel.com

RS: And, “Louie the Musician”?
Louie: Not many people know that I have been playing the guitar since my teen years. I was the lead guitarist for such legendary Joliet, IL area bands like "Fortune", "Mythras", and "Seymore Butz". I can really RIP on the guitar! I am what you call a "Shredder", a true Stun Guitarist!!! Click here to hear it here first!!!! Louie's latest shredding!! The file is large so be patient for loading.

RS: I also heard there is a “Louie the Professional Wrestler”.
Louie: Here’s my wrestling background. I have been the ring announcer for all Pro Championship Wrestling events (here in Tuscaloosa) run by my buddy, Robert Gibson, of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. I have also been a wrestling manager, offering my services to many future wrestling studs of tomorrow. My actual wrestling record is 1 – 0! I wrestled one match, beat the guy (due to outside interference) and retired. Therefore, I am undefeated!!

RS: Louie, many people look up to you. Is there anyone you look up to?
Louie: Yes. My parents, James and Toni, and my sisters, Maria, Angie, and Kristina. My family is The Greatest!!!

RS: Louie, you have been called the darkest white man in Tuscaloosa. Just what is your nationality?
Louie: 100% Greek, Baby!

RS: Let’s go over a few of your favorite things. What about food?
Louie: Anything Greek my mother makes!

RS: Favorite TV show?
Louie: "Desperate Housewives" . . . It's just fun to watch women who are as Desperate as I am!!!

RS: Favorite Book?
Louie: Anything by that Dr Seuss guy. I really love his work!!

RS: Favorite radio station?
Louie: 94one ZBQ! . . . Is there any other???

RS: One final question. Ginger or Mary Ann?
Louie: Mrs. Howell

RS: OK One more final question. Who is your favorite female singing duo?
Louie: Britney Spears!!!

Vice Pesidential Debate Scores Huge Ratings!!!
Monday 10-06-2008 8:09pm CT

The debate between vice presidential candidates SARAH PALIN and JOE BIDEN scored HUGE ratings on Thursday night.  Just under 70 MILLION people tuned in, making it the most-watched vice presidential debate EVER.

Compared to their running mates, JOHN MCCAIN and BARACK OBAMA look like WEAK SAUCE.  Their first debate a little over a week ago was "only" watched by 52.4 million people.

Not only did Palin / Biden beat the tar out of McCain / Obama, but check this . . . If it had been a presidential debate, it would have been the second most-watched of all time.  The presidential debate record is 80.6 million.  That's how many people watched RONALD REAGAN and JIMMY CARTER'S ONLY debate back in 1980.

LL's Comment: It might've been one of the most watched debates in History, but I highly doubt that I was the only one who fell asleep during it...

Is Elizabet Hasselbeck Leaving The View?
Monday 10-06-2008 7:49pm CT
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Denies She's Leaving The View | Elisabeth Hasselbeck
From People.com:
Although Elisabeth Hasselbeck's Republican leanings have been clearly on display during the election season, The View co-host is denying that she's preparing to leave the chatfest for a position at Fox News Channel.

"While Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving The View," her agent, Babette Perry, says in a statement released Thursday afternoon. "Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations."

Karl Nilsson, Executive Publicity Director for The View, adds: "Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, executive producers of The View, consider Elisabeth to be vital to the program."

Rumors that Hasselbeck, 31, might jump to Fox News have been rampant on TV blogs, especially in recent weeks as the co-host engaged in increasingly heated debates with her more liberal-leaning counterparts on the show. She has also made numerous appearances on Fox News in the past year, most recently serving as the very first guest on former Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee's new talk show this past weekend.

Hasselbeck, a mother of two, was also a fixture at the Republican National Convention last month and hosted a luncheon for Cindy McCain.

LL's Comment: She's the only reason I watch The View....Although I've never actually heard anything that any of the ladies say because I watch the show with the volume turned down while I lovingly stae at Elizabeth.....:-)
