If you know who Victory Ford is, please tweet me immediately @KaciKruz so we can discuss point by point why Lipstick Jungle should not have been cancelled!
If you don't know who Victory Ford is, watch both seasons (only lasted 2) of Lipstick Jungle on Netflix right now. Do it. Now.
(Quick update: Victory is a fashion designer who's in love with Joe Bennett, a billionaire.)
What I love about Victory is that she's her own company - if she messes up, it's all on her. If she does something great, that's all her too. I really admire how she turned herself around after her disaster show in the first episode, all without asking her billionaire boyfriend to help (SPOILER: he secretly bought her business, but she was pissed and broke up with him. She never asked him for money.)
I really like her independent attitude. So anyway, this all leads to this: I want to learn how to draw! I was always bad at it in elementary school art class, and I never really tried to learn. But now I want to, so I found this little gem at Barnes & Noble for just $10! I figure before I can teach myself how to draw like a fashion designer (taught by a book I found at Michael's and will clearly purchase soon), I should learn how to draw an apple first.
I'm such a geek. Now go watch Lipstick Jungle.
I CAN! I CAN DRAW!
