Have you noticed that every year just before the holidays, all the magazines and websites are telling you how to follow your diet or "resist the second helping!"?  

Let me tell you something: The holidays are meant to be enjoyed. You're supposed to indulge. You want a second helping of stuffing and green bean casserole? Go for it!  The dessert table that Pinterest came to life on is calling your name? Answer it.

Let's face it, if you're like me then this is the last really good, home-cooked meal you'll have for a while! (I'm scared of my oven.) Enjoy it. And don't freak out if you gain a couple pounds, that's supposed to happen. That's why they call it "Holiday Weight".
